The Power of Perception

Cognitive hypnotherapy and life coaching

Possibly everyone would benefit from some therapy – but most people don’t need much.

I have been a physical therapist for over 20 years. During that time I have become aware of the relevance of the ‘mind/body connection’, i.e. that the body can be affected by the mind and have studied to become a cognitive hypnotherapist at the Quest Institute, Regent’s Park, London. Through my own personal experience, I have found hypnotherapy to be extremely useful hence I am very passionate about the therapy and its benefits to the individual. A person may have the same problem as someone else but the route to the solution will be very different. I tailor the treatment to each individual, as the problem solving process is as individual as a fingerprint.

If you are concerned about some aspect of your life that seems to be getting in the way of you achieving your goals or overcoming your problems, if you are committed to changing I can help you find the way.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy incorporates the latest understanding from Evolutionary Psychology, Positive Psychology, Cognitive Theory and NLP, providing a unique and individual approach to therapy.

Somewhere inside most people have the capacity to overcome most problems. Together we can work through your issue, which can enable you to find the resources you already have, to bring about the improvement you want to achieve. We are all we need to be; sometimes it’s hidden deep inside.

Some of the things I can help you with:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety and Panic attacks
  • Depression
  • Lack of confidence
  • Phobias
  • Eating disorders
  • Weight loss
  • Break bad habits
  • Pain control
  • Performance issues
  • Bereavement
